NDPTA member Justin Berry, PT, DPT, MS, is this year's recipient of the F.A. Davis Award for Outstanding Physical Therapist Assistant Educator. This award is given annually to one PTA educator by the American Physical Therapy Association Board of Directors. A Williston native, Justin lives in Grand Forks and, since 2006, has been the Director of the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Northland Community and Technical College in East Grand Forks, MN.

Justin graduated from UND with his MPT in 2000, received his DPT from UND in 2005, has obtained a Master's in Education from Bemidji State University, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Higher Education from UND. He is currently chair of the NDPTA Nominating Committee and has been a past member of the Quality Assurance, Public Relations, and Continuing Education Committees. Justin is a frequent presenter at national conferences on PTA educational and professional issues; is an active, published researcher; has taught over 50 orthopedic continuing education courses throughout the U.S; and is currently a PTA Program on-site reviewer for the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapist Education.
