The NDPTA has two awards that are given out annually, based on nominations from NDPTA members.

• The awards are:

1. Friends of the Chapter
2. Outstanding Service

Members are encouraged to complete the nomination forms and include a supporting statement when nominating someone for either of these awards.  The forms are then submitted to the Nominating Committee for review and to make recommendations to the Board of Directors.  The Board of Directors makes the final decision and then presents a plaque to the selected individual(s) at the next Business Meeting, if possible.

Nominations for either of these awards are accepted at any time during the year.  Please be sure to include a supporting statement as part of the nomination.

This award is intended for an individual (or group) other than a physical therapist who has significantly contributed to the betterment of Physical Therapy in the state of north Dakota.

• Eligibility:
  • health care practitioner who has contributed to the education or practice of physical therapy
  • Person or group who has contributed to furthering the knowledge of physical therapy or promotion of the physical therapy profession.
  • manufacturer or company that has sponsored or contributed to the NDPTA Chapter and/or its functions.
  • support statements from at least two NDPTA members in good standing.

This award is intended TO Recognize members of the NDPTA for their outstanding contributions to the profession of physical therapy.

Eligibility:

• member in good standing of the American physical therapy association.
• member of the north Dakota chapter for at least three years.
• outstanding contribution in the following areas:
• education
• clinical practice
• clinical research
• other
• supporting statements from at least two members of NDPTA in good standing.
